Monty (Bonded with Winkie)'s Story

MONTY — The Sweetest Old Soul

Monty is only two years old, but he has the heart of an old soul.

He is calm, gentle, and wonderfully observant. While the other cats are busy chasing toys, Monty is often perfectly content sitting nearby and watching the whole show, as though supervising everyone from the sidelines. He loves being close to his people, watching Cat TV, lounging somewhere comfortable, and simply being part of whatever is happening around him.

And when Monty loves you, he melts for you.

He has the sweetest, most affectionate nature. Give him your hand and he'll lean into your touch, soaking up the love and reminding you that sometimes the quietest cats have the biggest hearts.

Monty and his sister Winkie have been hand-raised since the day they were born. Their formerly feral mama came indoors just one week before giving birth, so Monty and Winkie have grown up knowing human love, warm beds, toys, and, perhaps most importantly, Churu treats. Bring out a tube and you will have two very interested little faces.

Through no fault of their own, Monty and Winkie lost the family they knew. But they still have each other. They have been together for their entire lives, and their personalities complement each other beautifully. Winkie politely waits her turn for the feather wand while Monty watches the action. They lounge together, watch Cat TV together, investigate open drawers together, and have been known to construct the occasional unauthorized sock-drawer fort.

Monty doesn't need to be the loudest cat in the room to make you fall in love with him. He's the kind of cat whose gentle presence quietly becomes one of your favorite parts of the day.

Monty and Winkie are deeply bonded and are looking for a forever home together, where they can be the stars and receive all the love they deserve.
Born: June 23, 2024
