Staff heard the cries of this adorable guy who was abandoned on a windowsill of a cloistered Brooklyn monastery. With the blessings of one of the elderly nuns, Monty was brought indoors where he spent the next five days chasing new toys, riding the shoulders of doting staff, and sleeping on the chest of another nun while she watched tv in her rocking chair. Monty is nothing short of social, if not even therapeutic.<br/><br/>Monty is about 14 weeks old (as of this writing on Sept. 7). He is neutered, negative for FIV/FeLV, and is started on booster rounds. He needs two more boosters and his rabies vaccine (too young for that now). <br/><br/>The kind folks at Faithful Friends Animal Hospital agreed to help the nuns and Monty out, so he's been living with them for the last couple of weeks. They have done all vetting to date and are facilitating his adoption. Their fee is $100. Please don't hesitate to inquire after this blessed kitten and make arrangements to meet him! He wants nothing but attention and a place to call home.
