Hi! I am Monroe - a spunky, ambitious and friendly kitten. I came to the shelter quite sick as my former life was on a farm. My shelter family swooped in and took good care of me and now I am doing GREAT! I am adventurous, have no fear and love to get into places I perhaps ought not to - all in good fun though! I love playing with toys and my other kitty friends. I have a voracious appetite as I am quickly growing! <br/><br/>I will be spayed soon and I am up to date on my age appropriate vaccines. I was tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia and am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a home where I can get lots of love but also be able to exist and do my own thing. I also want to go play and be curious about the world around me. My family will need to keep me safe because I sometimes get into places I ought not to be! I'm adventurous! I have no fear! All in good fun! I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries.<br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and lots of pets and love.<br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
