Monkey Joe *Courtesy Post*'s Story
**This cat is Courtesy Posted and is not in our direct care. If you are interested in this cat, we ask that you submit an adoption application through our website and we will get you in touch with this cat's caretaker. Our application can be found at https://kindredkitties.org/cat-adoption**

His name is "Monkey Joe". He was someone's former pet set loose, who turned into a fighting Tom to survive. By the time he came my way he had broken teeth, open wounds and eye issues.

He's now fixed, up to date with shots, his wounds are mostly healed and his broken teeth removed. He was diagnosed with FIV however, and has difficulties seeing still. He eats well with only 3 teeth, wet cat food is his standard with small kibble as his secondary, as he really does like the kibble.

As he can not see too well, he is very skittish with sudden noises and human feet walking/running too close to him. But he is very sweet, loves being combed and pet. He is very independent, but he is tolerant of other cats. He is currently in my home, living separately from the indoor cats. He does need a more sheltered environment and accommodations for his FIV and teeth.
