Monkey's Story

Monkey is a petite little girl who has been through a lot in her short life. She’s a survivor though, and ready to find her forever family! Monkey is about 1.5yrs old now but has been with the rescue since an 8 week old kitten. She just randomly appeared one day at an outdoor cat colony, clearly dumped by someone (this colony is all fixed adult cats, and Monkey was very friendly and came up to someone right away looking for love and help.) Sadly, Monkey being put outside as a baby exposed her to a nasty virus called panleukopenia. Most don’t make it through this, but Monkey survived! She will always be tiny now, and she does have a little sway when she walks (almost like she’s a little tipsy) but this doesn’t cause any further issues for her. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and ready to go to a real home now. Monkey is VERY sweet, very confident, and a happy girl that you can’t help but to fall in love with. All the volunteers at the rescue love Monkey and say how she “owns the place.” She is good with other cats and children.

If interested in adopting Monkey fill out the adoption form here and someone will be in touch:

https://www.brickcitykittiesrescue.org/general-3

Brick City Kitties Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters need to complete our adoption application and be willing to share landlord, family, and veterinarian information with us so that we can verify application claims. Upon approval they will be granted a virtual or in person meet and greet. A virtual or in person home visit is preferred but if not it can be done when cat is brought to his new home. This is a precautionary measure so that Brick City Kitties Rescue can see for themselves where their cat(s) will be housed as well as the condition of any other house pets. A follow up visit or wellness check is typically agreed upon as well. BCK Rescue wants to take every possible measure to make sure that it's cats will have the best possible homes. It is our intention to keep our rescued pets from being put back on the streets and from being neglected or harmed in any way.
