Monkey's Story
Monkey was turned over to Animal Life Savers by a good samaritan that found him on the streets covered in what was thought to be cigarette burns all over his back. He was treated for it, but it was also decided to try and treat as an allergy. It was further determined that it was indeed a reoccurring seasonal allergy that is easily treated and seems to occur with each season change.

Monkey was placed in a foster home and neutered while he waits for his new forever home. He is very happy living with his foster family, other cats and kittens, and a dog. He loves to wrestle with his male cat friends and sleeps with his foster mom every night. He is very quiet and gentle. He obeys all the house rules and never is a problem. Monkey is a perfect gentleman. His name suits him as he finds the craziest places up high to sleep.

Monkey would do well in either a single cat household or a multi cat household. Please consider adopting this very sweet and loving boy.

Monkey is a sweet cat with one chronic special need: seasonal environmental allergies. This is a very common condition that is effectively managed with a simple quarterly steroid injection treatment plan.

His allergy is thought to be triggered by common environmental factors, and his reaction is primarily skin irritation, itchiness and lickin.

All adoptions include first-year vaccines, deworming, and spaying/neuter.
