Monet and Van Gogh's Story

This beautiful mother-daughter duo is ready to paint their happily-ever-after with a loving family of their own.

Monet, the stunning tortie mama, is as gentle and warm as they come. She has done an incredible job raising her baby and is now ready to be someone’s cherished companion. Monet loves people, enjoys pets, and has a playful side that shines through when the toys come out.

Her baby, Van Gogh, is an adorable orange kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is sweet, playful, and full of curiosity. Van Gogh has a condition called Symblepharon, which affects her eye. As she grows, she may require surgery to correct it. Because of this, her adopter will need to maintain continued communication with the shelter. In 4–6 months, the shelter will schedule an appointment with their veterinary ophthalmologist to evaluate and move forward with surgery if needed. The shelter will guide her adopter through that next step.

Both Monet and Van Gogh are incredibly loving, gentle cats who adore people and love to play. They share a strong bond and must be adopted together so they can continue to comfort and entertain one another.

If you’re ready to open your heart to two sweet souls — and are committed to supporting Van Gogh’s medical journey — Monet and Van Gogh would love to make your home their masterpiece.
