Monchi's Story

Monchi is a sweet, loving boy who had a rough start, and is ready for a new beginning.

Found as a stray, Monchi was brought to Cameron Animal Rescue with multiple severe injuries. He had multiple soft tissue wounds that needed to be debrided and sutured, a broken shoulder, and his tail was so severely injured that it had to be amputated. Despite his painful wounds, Monchi remained sweet and gentle throughout his long recovery. Monchi has now fully recovered from his injuries, and he can't wait to find his forever home.

Monchi is approximately 4 years old and is healthy. He is FeLV/FIV and Bartonella negative. He has been neutered; fecal tested and dewormed; he has had his full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; and he is microchipped.

Monchi is a calm and gentle boy. He is generally friendly, but it can take some time for him to come out of his shell with new people. Once he is comfortable, his full personality comes out- his playful and silly, sweet and affectionate, and generally a loving goofball. Monchi is not a high energy cat, but he does like to play with toys. He loves napping in weird places, and in even weirder positions - it is not unusual to find him upside down with legs sticking out in all directions. He is good with other cats, although he doesn't like intense wrestling. And he is good with calm dogs. Monchi is good with calm children of all ages, but finds very high energy kids to be a bit overwhelming.

Monchi is ready for his forever family and a lifetime of love, cuddles, and silly naps.

Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information
