Elusive and majestic, Monarch is just over 3 years old. She is a fan of her hidey holes and she loves of some catnip! She's all about the little joys in life. She has a few cat friends here at the shelter, and a calm mannered cat friend may be all she needs to come out of her shell in her new home. Monarch is one of those cats that will flourish in a home. Shelter life can be difficult on even the most well-adjusted cats. Having their own space away from constant change allows cats to open up in ways that are almost unbelievable. Though Monarch may never be an outgoing lap cat we're hopeful in a home her true personality will shine through.
