Momma Meagan...It's my turn, pick me's Story
Meet MOMMA MEAGAN,

Momma Meagan has had a hard life, but we're hoping her next chapter is the one she deserves.
She came to us as a community (TNR) momma cat and her finder is unable to take her back to where she had been living.

Meagan is blind in one eye, likely the result of the difficult life she lived before rescue. She was found in a rough part of town, and while we'll never know everything she's been through, it's clear she's survived more than most cats ever should.

Like many protective mothers, Meagan was on high alert while raising her kittens, and trusting people wasn't easy. After spending the last 3 months safely tucked away in a quiet bedroom, with her babies grown and gone, we've started to see a different side of her.

Now that she no longer has little ones to protect, Meagan has begun accepting gentle pets and is becoming much more relaxed around people. She still hisses at the resident cats, but everything about living indoors is brand new to her. Considering all the changes she's experienced, she's doing her best to adjust.

Because she's still learning that she's finally safe, Meagan would likely do best as the only cat in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. If there are other pets, she will need a very slow, thoughtful introduction and an adopter who understands that trust takes time. We believe she has every chance to continue blossoming with someone who will let her move at her own speed.
Momma Meagan has spent her life surviving.

She is FIV/FELV negative. Meagan has had her spay, rabies and Fvrcp vaccine.

If you have a patient heart and are willing to give this resilient girl the fresh start she's never had, Momma Meagan just might reward you with a bond that's truly special.
