Momma Bear's Story

I am a bit timid when we first meet, but be patient with me and we'll become besties for the resties! I like my son Bear very much. We'd love to stay together, but the rescue says it's hard to adopt two adult cats out together. But the most important thing is we both find a great home with a family who loves us very much! I have long fur, but I dont even weigh 8 lbs! They guessed I have some Maine Coone in my because of my gorgeous fur, but it could be Siberian or some other long hair breed. I need a family who can spend lots of time with me and never leave me behind!

Tampa Bay Strays, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Adopters can submit an application for an individual pet through our website. After the app is reviewed, a representative may reach out by phone/text/email with any additional questions. Once approved as an adopter, we will arrange for you to meet the animal; usually in one of our adoption centers or in the foster home in which it lives. If you feel like it is a good fit, you can usually take your new companion home the same day, once contract is signed and adoption fee is paid.
