Molly (Blind Loving Senior)'s Story

Meet Molly, Our Sweetest FIV+ Senior Kitty

Molly is a truly extraordinary soul. She’s FIV-positive, completely blind, estimated to be around 10 years old, and delightfully petite with the softest, silkiest fur you’ll ever touch. She has survived unimaginable hardships; yet despite it all, she remains affectionate, trusting, and endlessly loving.

Her life has been nothing short of heroic. When we found her, she had just had kittens; but Molly had been giving herself to others for years, raising litter after litter, always making sure every kitten was healthy and ready for a loving home. She didn’t stop there: when a litter of orphaned newborn kittens needed a mother, Molly stepped in without hesitation, nursing and loving them as if they were her own. For over a decade, she has given everything she had to care for others.

Even more shocking is what she’s endured, at least 12 BB gun pellets are embedded in her tiny body. Yet, Molly has survived, adapted, and thrived. Her blindness doesn’t slow her down; she knows her world, navigates it confidently, and moves with grace. She is polite with other cats, gentle at the vet, and utterly patient and forgiving, even after a lifetime of suffering.

Molly loves soft cave beds, cozy blankets, chin scratches, gentle brushing, and freeze-dried chicken treats. She melts in your lap, trusting completely, letting you know through her soft sighs and gentle nudges that all she wants is love. She breaks hearts instantly, and everyone who meets her falls in love.

After a lifetime of giving herself to others, Molly finally deserves a home where she can be cherished, pampered, and loved for herself; a place where she can be a baby again in her golden years. She is a tiny, soft, brave heart wrapped in silk, ready to teach you what unconditional love truly is.

Check out more photos and videos of Molly here:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/FqLcdjMzFmxMtqg97

Adopt Molly, and give this extraordinary, loving senior cat the peaceful, happy life she has always deserved.

Molly is estimated to be 10 years old, and she is finally spayed, had her bloodwork done as well as an Xray and has a clean healthy bill. She tested negative for heartworms and FelV.

Molly is FIV-positive, which might sound scary, but it’s really not a big deal. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, happy lives — especially when they are kept indoors, loved, and given proper care. FIV is not spread through cuddling, grooming, sharing food or water, or playing; it only spreads through deep bite wounds, and Molly is far too gentle for that.

Interested in learning more about Molly?
