Molly and Scooter

Molly and Scooter (mother and son) are two short-haired domestic cats in need of a new home.<br/><br/>Both cats are perfectly healthy and are currently owned by Sue, a dedicated lover of all animals, and a member of PAWS Team since its inception. Much of our success has been thanks to Sue, whose commitment and dedication to helping animals, is always on her list of priorities. <br/><br/>Sue is now facing some personal health challenges, and has made the selfless and heart wrenching decision to rehome them while she still has the energy to manage their future, and personally ensure that they are placed in a loving and caring forever home.<br/><br/>They are very bonded and it would be preferable for them to be adopted together. They will be adopted with a lot of supplies, including food and a chipped operated cat feeder, as well as many extras.<br/><br/>Molly – The Mum:<br/>Molly is 3 ½ years old, microchipped and spayed. She is an indoor only cat. She has no health issues and is fully up to date with vaccines.<br/><br/>She was abandoned and found in the woods, pregnant, and gave birth at only 6 months old. Only 3 live kittens were found. She has known nothing but love since she was adopted.<br/><br/>Molly is very much a lap cat. She is extremely affectionate and will follow you around the house. Being petted is her most favorite joy. She loves to hide under blankets and throws, and sitting on the window seat overlooking the outside world. <br/><br/>She is very attached to Scooter (her son) and they can often be seen grooming each other. She eats Royal Canin Selected protein PD in small amounts throughout the day, plus wet food for breakfast, otherwise she will eat non-stop, very possibly a result of being pregnant and abandoned in the woods scavenging for what food she could find to nourish herself and her unborn babies. <br/><br/>Scooter – The Son:<br/>Scooter is Molly’s son, 3 years old, microchipped and neutered. He is an indoor only cat. He has no health issues and is fully up to date with vaccines.<br/><br/>Whilst more independent than his mum, he loves to sit on your lap, either alone or with Molly, his mother. <br/>He too loves to sit on the window seat looking passersby.<br/><br/>Scooter is not a picky eater, with Fromm dry food plus Friskies wet food at breakfast<br/><br/>Due to the mother/son bond that they share, Molly and Scooter must be adopted together. Scooter has never known a life without Molly.<br/><br/>Their ideal home would be one with no young children. <br/><br/>They currently live with a senior standard poodle, and would do well with a cat-savvy well balanced dog.<br/><br/>If you would like to apply to adopt both Molly and Scooter, please contact us directly for an adoption application.
