Meet Mojo Jojo

Mojo Jojo can best be described as this emoji…. ???both in terms of his silly, fun personality, and his one wonky eyeball. He is an active, playful, and curious young guy, who loves his foster family, loves treats, and does great with other cats. Because of how social he is, he must go to a home with another young cat or kitten.

Despite how funky his eye looks, Mojo was seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist and deemed, “fine but looks gross.” The doctor told us he caught ocular herpes as a small kitten and that is why the inside of his eyelid continued to grow over his eye. He has excellent vision, and the risk of a surgery to remove the extra skin outweigh any benefits that he would receive. Medically, he has no additional complications from this, and the rescue will provide an eyedrop to be administered if he were to have a flare. All medical records will be provided.
