He’s one of a litter of three and definitely has a presence — quiet, watchful, and totally magnetic.<br/><br/>Mojito is an active kitten who loves to play, especially when he can do so on his own terms. You’ll often find him chasing toys, climbing to the highest perch, or exploring cozy hiding spots. While he’s not the cuddliest in the bunch and isn’t a fan of being picked up yet, he’s making sweet progress in learning to trust and build bonds with gentle humans.<br/><br/>But when it comes to other cats, Mojito is a total lover! In his current foster home, he is much enamoured of the resident cat, touching noses and sliding along her flank whenever he has the chance, even though she hisses at his attention, for now! He does not react, and waits her out so he can take the next opportunity to charm her with his affection! Mojito did well with the resident dog as well, watching first and tentatively accepting cross-species friendship once he perceived no threats.<br/><br/>Mojito would do well in a calm, patient home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. And watch out when he does! There will be lots of energetic play, running and jumping gymboree happening when the boys get going! Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.<br/><br/>All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
