Meet Mochi! This sweet girl is feeling very nervous and loves to be in her kitty bed, making it a little difficult to meet potential adopters! Mochi likes to play and we are working on helping her come out of her shell and feel more social! We know that what she needs is a loving, stable home who will give her the time she needs to settle in and feel safe. <br/>In return, you'll get lots of love and kitty companionship! <br/><br/>If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

Please visit our shelters to adopt one of the animals you see below. It will say on the website whether that animal is located in Manhattan, Westhampton or Wantagh. Please note that since adoptions will be first come, first serve, we will be unable to guarantee the inventory of animals at the time of your arrival. If the animal you were interested in has already been adopted, we will do our best to help you find another great match for you and your family. If an animal you are interested in is currently in a foster home (it will say this on the website), you will need to submit an application so that we can schedule a Zoom interview with the foster parent. We will be unable to schedule those interviews on the spot, so please submit an application and wait for us to get back to you to schedule an appointment.
