Moby's Story
Moby man was adopted from us as a young man and after around 7 years his mom, who loved him very much, was faced with things totally out of her control and she realized it was best for him to come back to us. We love every single animal we care for and always welcome them back if that becomes a reality.

Moby is a sweet guy but he does take a bit of time to warm up to new people and situations and can be bossy when he isn't getting his way. He will need a quiet laid back home with people who are understanding and willing to give him the time he needs to adjust to a new life and new family. He would love to be an only pet again but he may be ok with other calm cats who are willing to allow him his own space. We are not sure what he would think of living with a dog but they would be to be cat savvy and willing to leave him be.

Not long after his original adoption Moby had a urinary blockage that he was treated for and has been on a special diet ever since which he will need to continue for the duration of his life. He has had great success with being on said special diet and while it will hopefully keep any issues in check his new family will have to keep an eye on his urinary health and be willing to handle any potential issues he has in the future.

Moby is around 9 years old as of 1/30/25.

The adoption fee for a single cat is $125 and includes distemper vaccine, rabies, dewormer, flea treatment, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV Combo test and microchip.

If you would like to potentially adopt this cat please either email catadoption@lunashouse.org for more information or complete the application online using the link on the main adoptable cats page on the website.
