Moana

Meet Moana! A hyper independent little lanky girl, with all the cattitude you could want. She is ready to be the best roommate you've ever had! She doesn't mind if you have to work all day because she can entertain herself for houuurrsss. Due to a rare auto immune disease called Pemphigus, Moana has been a loner almost her entire time in foster care. Pemphigus is an autoimmune disease that, in Moana's case, was triggered by her first vaccination. The vet has recommended she does not receive vaccinations again because of this. If you chose to vaccinate her be prepared for another flare up that will need a steroid regimen to remedy it. When she had a flare up initially she wanted nothing to do with her litter mates, or people, so her foster would wrap her up in a purrito so she still felt loved. Eventually she was completely separated from the other kittens. She began a short steroid regimen and her litter mates were sent to be with their other foster. The pemphigus cleared up quickly and she was able to be taken off the steroids. Moana grew up alone and her foster works a full time job with an unusual schedule so she is super independent. Moana keeps out of trouble, looooves interactive toys, ping pong balls, and a comfy spot by the window to bird & butterfly watch. She's unsure of house guests, she tends to study them from a far and prefers they use their eyes to pet her. Because of her autoimmune disease she hasn't had contact with other kitties or dogs. She has the loudest purrs and spends her evenings snuggled on her foster's chest. Moana would really love a quiet home, full of toys, and someone patient enough to give her the chance to love them as much as she loves her foster mom. She is the incredibly sweet, extremely goofy, and very entertaining. She'll never be upset with you for having to work all day or if you have plans. If given the opportunity she'll be your best friend and the best part of your day.
