MoMo's Story

Meet MoMo

MoMo is a gentle, sweet soul who is looking for a second chance at a forever home. She was originally adopted from us five years ago, but was recently returned to our care due to unforeseen circumstances when her owner’s significant other developed cat allergies and they were preparing to move out of state.
Now back at the shelter, MoMo is feeling a bit overwhelmed and scared. Shelter life is a big adjustment for her, and she truly longs for the comfort and stability of a quiet home. MoMo would thrive in a calm environment where she can take her time to settle in and feel safe again. She would do best as the only pet, or possibly with other friendly, easygoing felines who can help show her the ropes. A home without dogs is important for her comfort, and she would do best with older, respectful children who understand her need for patience and space.
MoMo is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to begin her next chapter. She was born approximately 2/18/2020 and has so much love left to give to the right person willing to give her the time she needs to blossom.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to MoMo, please apply online today at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our staff will be in touch.
We offer open walk-in hours for cat visiting every Monday from 12pm–5pm and Friday from 12pm–6pm. Appointments are also available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Apply before you stop by—you may be able to take your new feline friend home the very same day!
