Mitzi and Radar's Story

Mitzi and Radar were brought to the shelter separately but with similar issues. Both of these girls had eye problems that left them completely blind. We placed them into a foster home together until the were old enough to have surgery. Unfortunately, both of them needed both of their eyes removed as they were not functioning and causing discomfort. They grew up in their foster home together and seem pretty dependent on each other, so they must be adopted together as a bonded pair. Mitzi, the torti girl is about 4 months old and Radar, the black girl is a little closer to 5 months old. Both girls are super sweet and playful. With them being blind, the biggest thing they need in their new home is consistency. Blind cats are able to navigate the layout of their home as they become familiar with it, so it is best they go to a family who is settled into their home and does not move the furniture around often. These two special girls are in need of a home and family!
