He and his mom, Sophia, are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.<br/><br/>Mitty has overcome more in his first year than most cats ever will. Rescued alongside his mother in September 2025, he was one of Sophias kittens living outdoors while she did everything she could to keep her family safe. Tragically, distemper claimed the rest of his litter despite every effort to save them, leaving Mitty as Sophias only surviving kitten. Since then, the two have remained inseparable, relying on each other for comfort, companionship, and love.<br/><br/>Today, Mitty is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, healthy, and thriving. After overcoming both distemper and ringworm, hes ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the forever family he deserves.<br/><br/>Mitty can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his fun-loving personality shines. Hes curious, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. One of his favorite things is carrying his stuffed ball around the house like a little dog. If another kitten gets too interested in his prized toy, hell let out the tiniest growl before proudly trotting away with it—its one of his many adorable quirks!<br/><br/>He enjoys treats, loves being petted, and happily alternates between zooming around with toys and settling in for cuddles and scratchies. While he tolerates being picked up better than Sophia, hed much rather keep all four paws on the ground and come to you for affection.<br/><br/>Mitty gets along well with other cats after slow introductions and has also done well with calm, cat-friendly dogs. He would thrive in a loving indoor home with respectful children or adults who will give him time to settle in and let his sweet personality blossom.<br/><br/>The bond between Mitty and Sophia is truly extraordinary.
