Hi, my name is Mittens. <br/><br/>Im a 10-year-old tuxedo kitty looking for a loving forever home.<br/><br/>A few years ago, my first owner passed away, and I was lucky enough to be rescued by a wonderful family who has loved me ever since. Sadly, they now have to move, and despite trying everything they can, they arent allowed to bring me with them. Theyve been given a little time to find me a new family, and Im hoping someone out there will open their heart to me.<br/><br/>I am spayed, declawed, and current on my vaccinations through July. Im a calm, gentle girl who enjoys a peaceful home. Im not much of a lap cat, but I absolutely love head scratches and quiet companionship. It may take me a few weeks to settle in and trust you, but once I do, I promise to be a loyal and loving friend.<br/><br/>I get along fine with small dogs, but if Im being honest, Id really love a home where I can be your one and only pet. I enjoy my peace and quiet.<br/><br/>I know Im not a kitten anymore, but I still have so much love left to give. Senior cats like me deserve a second chance too. My family is doing everything they can to keep me from having to go to a shelter, because at my age that would be very hard on me.<br/><br/>Please, if you have room in your heart and home for a sweet older girl, consider giving me a chance.
