Mittens's Story

When Mittens first arrived at the shelter, she received all of her vetting, but the shelter environment proved overwhelming. She began to shut down, becoming fearful and depressed. So one of our staff members welcomed her into foster care, giving her the quiet space she needed.

Mittens is not quite ready for hands-on affection, but she loves her treat time and will often come out for treats (she LOVES Temptations!).

Mittens will need a special person with a quiet home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace.

Her ideal home would have:
- no young kids
- no dogs
- no other cats or only one very calm cat that won't bother her

She is currently in foster!
