Mitch's Story

Meet MITCH! This former toughie turned softie is as handsome as they come! MITCH has a tuxedo patterned coat. His jet-black fur is offset by accents of white cascading down his face between his eyes and on his nose, at the center of his chin, as well as on his chest and paws. MITCH is estimated to be approximately 5 years old.

Life for MITCH before arriving to our cat center, like so many other unneutered males, was all about survival. MITCH most likely spent his days fighting for food and females. Thankfully, all that is behind him now. MITCH was unsure and took some time to settle in when he first arrived. MITCH had an abscess on his head (probably an old battle wound), his nose was all banged up, and a nasty ear infection to boot. MITCH received all the proper medical care and treatments necessary to tend to his minor issues. Fast forward a couple weeks, and this handsome hunk turned into a mush! He is both looking better and feeling better. MITCH is easy to warmup to people and accepting of pets and gentle scritches behind his ears and under his chin. MITCH looks like a new man now! All his boo-boos have healed and his outlook on life is that much brighter. MITCH is quiet and gentle, enjoys treats, and wants nothing more than a cozy blanket to get comfortable and relax on. MITCH is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. MITCH is ready to leave his former street life behind him in the dust and he is seeking a stable, secure, loving Forever Home with a special person or family willing to give this brave boy the life filled with love and happiness he deserves.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you would like to meet MITCH, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
