Misty's Story

Misty is quiet and calm, but is so happy when her people give her love and affection. She has so much love to share. Misty has had some struggles in her life that have caused vision loss; she has one eye missing and limited vision in her other eye.<br/><br/>Despite this, she loves to climb cat trees and navigates around fairly easy. She does okay with other cats who are calmer, but can get overwhelmed with high energy cats. She also loves to be brushed. <br/><br/>Misty would do best in a quieter home without dogs or very young children. She is fixed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Rescue Me's Adoption Policy

Anyone who adopts is required to complete an adoption application. After we have confirmed their personal animals are well cared for and they have no criminal past, we set them up to meet the kitten. If the kitten and the potential adopter are a match we complete a home visit. The home visit reviews our policy and we make sure the home is prepared and safe for the cat. The adopter then signs a contract and pays fee. The adopter can then arrange for pickup.
