Misty is looking for her furever home with someone who loves to give pets as much as she loves to receive them. Misty is listed as having special needs because when she first came to the shelter, her blood sugar was extremely high. After a couple of weeks of insulin treatment, her blood sugar stabilized and the vet gave her a remission status. To be sure her blood sugar does not sky rocket again, she will need certain wet food that is still affordable and not a prescription diet.
