Misty's Story

Misty is wondering why she hasn’t been adopted yet. She’s very sweet- a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long before she’s purring and jumps up on your lap and acts silly. She likes the ball tower and the tunnels the most. She gets along with the other cats and dogs at her foster home. Misty is about 5 months old, she’s spayed and up to date on her shots. Lakeshore Animal Friends's Adoption Policy

Adoption application is a requirement for all cats/kittens adopted directly from LAF. Pet must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption and, unless special circumstances are agreed upon for a specific cat/kitten, the pet is considered an indoor only pet. LAF reserves the right to visit the potential adopters home to ensure a good placement for the pet and/or has final determination if the pet is a suitable match for the adopter.

Our Mission

Provide spay/neuter assistance for pets adopted from Mason Country Animal Control. Where possible provide foster based rescue for kittens and cats until a safe, healthy and permanent home can be found.
