Misty's Story

Misty was adopted into a loving home in 2021. We received an email from the Burlington Humane that Misty was brought in by the police. Sadly her owner had passed and there was no next of kin to help with Misty. The world that she knew was turned upside down in just one day. She was very scared and not doing well in the small cage. We were happy to be able to bring her back into our care. This pretty girl has adjusted so well to her new foster home. The first couple of days, Misty would run and hide, but now she seeks out scratches and will sit and sleep next to the her foster dad. She just needed time to adjust and feel safe again. She is very sweet and more curious with every passing day. Misty is not a picky eater and is very low maintenance. She doesn't meow or make any kind of noise.
