Mister's Story
Mister
4 years old
neutered male
Bobtail!
8lbs

Mister came to us from another organization where he spent a few months living in a bare dog crate. He came with minimal paperwork, but a note that said 'scared of everything'. So far, we have found that to be mostly true, and he's been with us a year. This boy is absolutely a huge scaredy cat.

Kids are huge No-Go for this shy bobtail boy. Loud noise and lots of energy just is not his speed. An old lady dog might be ok, but young or rowdy dogs also wouldn't be a good match. Mister needs a family that will be very patient with him, and likely another gentle, friendly cat in the house to encourage him to come out of his shell. He has allowed pets with lots of time and babysteps, and will help you with chores once he trusts you. Once he knows and trusts you, he'll greet you with a raised booty (and nub!), and a curious chirp - it just took us several months to get to that point with him.

Mister really enjoys the company of Sweet Girl, the blind kitty who lives with him, Meatloaf, Goldy and Ron in our shy cat room. We often find he and Sweet Girl spooning in the chair or laundry piles. Because we like to keep buddies together, Sweet Girl can be adopted alongside Mister at no additional cost.
