Missy 's Story

Meet Missy 💜

Missy came to us after surviving on her own, living in someone’s yard, and we had to humanely trap her to get her the help she needed. While she was already spayed, we brought her fully up to date on vaccinations and had her snap tested — she is negative for both FIV and FeLV.

Missy is a little rough around the edges at first and is still learning how to trust people. We believe she was left behind or dumped, which has understandably made her cautious. She is slow to open up and will need a patient, understanding home that allows her to move at her own pace.

Once Missy begins to trust you, she does allow pets and can be sweet in her own quiet way. She’s the kind of cat who will bond deeply with her person, but that bond takes time and consistency.

Missy is looking for a calm home with someone who understands that love doesn’t always happen instantly — and that the most rewarding relationships are often the ones you earn.

Missy hates other cats which often happens when cats are fending for themselves outside and competing for resources.

If you would like to be the soft landing for Missy please fill out an application on our website

https://www.enfieldcommunitycatproject.com/
