Missy's Story

Oh, sweet Missy. Where do I even begin?
Missy is a spayed female, approximately 7 years old. She is up to date on all vaccinations and completely healthy.
I have had Missy for almost two years. Her story, like so many of the cats we help, is a sad one — but despite everything she’s been through, she is the sweetest girl. My dream for Missy is for her to finally have a home of her own.
She is so gentle and kind that other cats tend to pick on her, so an environment without feline bullies would be ideal. A calm, peaceful home would truly allow her to thrive.
Missy had years of chronic ear infections, which left her with a permanent head tilt. She has been treated multiple times, and at her most recent visit she was completely clear and healthy for the first time in a long while. Seeing all that care finally pay off was incredibly rewarding.
She is a little pudgy — and who can blame her? Not always knowing where her next meal would come from has left her eager for food. Since being with me, she has never had to worry about that again.
Missy is an absolute doll. She loves to be brushed and petted and is incredibly sweet and easygoing. She can be picked up when necessary, such as for vet visits, though being carried isn’t her favorite. Overall, she is just an easy, gentle soul.
Her ideal retirement home would be quiet and loving, where she doesn’t have to worry about other cats or dogs bullying her or accidentally stepping on her. She deserves peace, comfort, and a family who will cherish her.
Adoption fee: $50
An adoption application is required.
Please email us at TNRNorthPlatte@gmail.com to request an application.
