Missy is a young petite black cat who recently had a litter of kittens. Missy loves sitting in windows and looking out at what’s happening in the outdoors. . She longs to be close to her people and will follow you around, curious about what you’re doing but she is a little shy and will keep her distance. However, if she’s getting ear scratches, she can sit for as long as you’re willing to keep scratching behind her ears. . Missy loves squeezable kitty treats and will come running when she sees or smells one being opened. She is curious about what food you might be eating though she is very polite, just watching and taking in the aromas. Missy loves wrestling with her kitten Lacie. She’s a good mama, allowing Lacie to eat first when their favorite wet food is placed down. However, she will rush to be first if she sees a squeezable treat. They make a good pair if you are looking for companions that love being together and will entertain you for hours. ADOPTION FEE: The adoption donation includes spay or neuter, microchip, age appropriate shots, deworming, flea preventative and a negative FIV/Luekemia test. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place and references will be checked. We will then arrange for you to meet the cat or kitten. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
