Hello darlings, my name is Miss Tuffsy.<br/>People sometimes smile when they hear my name, and it suits me more than you might think. I’m called Miss Tuffsy not because I’m rough or bold, but because I have a quiet kind of strength. I may be shy at first, but it takes courage to open your heart, and I do that beautifully once I feel safe.<br/><br/>I’m a gorgeous long-haired black cat with stunning amber eyes and an absolutely adorable face (so I’m told). I can be a little head-shy in the beginning, but I truly enjoy being petted. Once I get to know you, I soak up affection and show my sweet, gentle side.<br/><br/>I love other cats and feel happiest lounging in comfy cat beds or relaxing up high on a cat tree. You’ll often find me stretched out, enjoying a peaceful moment, but I do enjoy playtime too when the mood strikes.<br/><br/>I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who will let me warm up at my own pace and appreciate the soft, loving soul beneath my shy exterior. If you do, I promise I’m worth the wait.<br/><br/>You can come meet me any day between 1–5 PM, even on holidays, at our sanctuary.<br/><br/>I’ll be the elegant black cat lounging gracefully… quietly showing just how strong and sweet Miss Tuffsy really is.<br/><br/>I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.
