Miss Meadow's Story

Miss Meadow is a one-of-a-kind cat. Our vet said, "This is a cat that you just HAVE to come meet!". Miss Meadow is friendly to everybody and has so much love to give, she could be pet and loved on all day. She knows when you're feeling down, and will jump in your lap and say "LOVE ME!" Sometimes she will even give you a good slap if you stop petting her. Does this sound like the kitty for you? Keep reading!

Meadow spent most of her life outdoors with no vet care. Sometimes we would find her sleeping in our compost pile full of animal poo and rotting veggies. She was grungy, and we thought she was a senior cat when we started seeing her. (Now we know that she's about 5 years old per the vet's estimation.) She would meow at us for help, but we had to earn her trust before we could do anything. See, she had been outside on her own for so long, she knew to avoid the traps we were setting for her. But after showing her that we want to be friends, we didn't have to use a trap for her, we just had to grab her and put her in a carrier!

The day we finally got Meadow, it was swelteringly hot, and we were all out of our usual bait. Nevertheless, she was so hot and hungry, she desperately gobbled the vegetarian dog food we offered out of urgency. We got her some help inside, and from that point on, she has been extremely grateful to live the pampered indoor life she always deserved.

Yes, Meadow is pampered now. Her favorite cat litter is Dr. Elsey's, and she happily gobbles down Fancy Feast wet food. Only one of these is a must, though. Meadow grew up a free spirit, but she will use the potty like a civilized cat if her box has Dr. Elsey's in it. Problem solved!

Meadow would love to be your lap kitty and give you the best companion (with a few slaps here and there) for the rest of her furry little life! Will you give her the forever family she always wanted?

Please fill out an application below to get started.
