Since then, she has been quietly, bravely learning what it means to feel safe and warm. <br/><br/>This lovely girl has made slow but steady progress. She absolutely adores food (mealtime is her favorite event of the day!) and will reward gentle brushing with the sweetest little purrs. Watching her relax under a brush is like seeing her realize she deserves kindness.<br/><br/>Miss Kitty is still working on her litter box manners and learning the rhythms of indoor life. She truly tries her best, and she’s improving with patience and routine. She will need a special adopter who understands that healing isn’t always linear, someone willing to give her time, grace during setbacks, and a calm, loving home where she can continue to build trust at her own pace. She does OK with her fellow foster cat sibling but would appreciate being an only cat or part of a calm cat pair. <br/><br/>If you believe that the most meaningful bonds are the ones you grow slowly, Miss Kitty may be your girl. She’s ready to keep blossoming — she just needs someone willing to walk that journey with her.<br/><br/>You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
