Miss Kitty's Story

Miss Kitty is a graceful, slender and velvety 15 year old gal who has a lot to say and would prefer to tell you all about it from your lap. Her history is that she spent the first 7 years of her life with her original person. Unfortunately, when her person died, she entered the foster care system. She was lucky enough to find a lady with two other cats to take her in for the next seven years, but due to unfortunate circumstances, her second person's living situation changed and she had to give Kitty up, which is how she ended up with us. Kitty's living situation with her second person was that she was separated from her person's other two cats as Kitty is very territorial and opinionated about her space. She lived in the bedroom/bathroom portion of the apartment and stayed separate from her person's other two cats. She would need to be in a one cat household and we are unsure about her attitude about dogs. She was very shy and a bit fearful when she came to us - in part because her social circle had been very limited. In the weeks since she's been in her current foster home, she has blossomed and is very interested in meeting and being petted by new people. She purrs up a storm and, if you sit down, will march into and around your lap. She is very chatty, especially in the morning and what she would like most in the world is a person (or people!) to call her own. She wants abundant lap time and will reward you with head butts, loud purrs and some discreet drooling. She's in excellent health and is very neat in her litter box use as well as in her very tidy appearance. What she would most like is to tuck herself under your arm and purr while you relax at home. She would be the ideal cat for a retiree who can offer her copious amounts of affection.

Please note:
- Miss Kitty would do best as an only child
- Miss Kitty needs a home with no young children.
- Indoor only

For more information or to apply for Miss Kitty, please go to:
https://www.calyscats.org/adoption/cat.php?id=1165

[id=1165;ts=1766563207;src=pf]
