Miriam's Story
Miriam was trapped by a good Samaritan that fed her and her brother, Joel, on his porch for several months. He didn't want them left out in the cold so brought them to Good Mews when we had space. Miriam is going to need a very patient adopter that is willing to meet her where she's at. Since she didn’t much exposure to humans or the indoors before she came to GM, she is still learning that these are good things! She is getting a little more trusting but will probably always remain shy. But once in a quiet home, we are hopeful she will learn to trust her human. She loves to look out the window and watch wildlife! While at the shelter, she met Dolly and they became friends and are inseparable. They are never far from each other and are often seen cuddling together. Because of their special bond, we decided they needed to stay together forever, so they must be adopted together. They may never be lap cats or super social, but they are sweet girls that would love a home to call their own. So if you are a patient person, that loves a challenge, then please consider adopting this adorable pair. Think of how rewarding it will feel once you gain their trust and see how happy they are with their new life.

Miriam is BFF with Dolly so they must be adopted together!

Miriam is part of the Kitty Keeper program!
