Mirabel's Story
Mirabel is a pretty 9-year-old girl who was recently brought to us because her owner was moving to no pet housing. She is gentle, quiet, and sweet. However, she does have some 'tortitude' and prefers affection on her terms. She will let you know when she's done with patting with a quick swat. Mirabel is overweight at nearly 14 lbs so she is looking for an adopter who can help her lose some weight. Mira is spayed, UTD on vet care, and ready for a new home!

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
