Mirabel's Story

Meet Mirabel! She is a loving, affectionate young adult who came to our rescue to escape euthanasia at a shelter in Illinois. Mirabel was rescued with her kittens and after their weaning and adoption, she became easily agitated in the kennel at the shelter. She was a bite risk, and we agreed to transfer her here to avoid euthanasia. Upon intake we discovered she is the sweetest girl ever! She does get easily overstimulated by other cats and can get swatty with them, however she lives in the sanctuary happily and without issue. She just likes her space from most cats, but is not aggressive with them beyond a swat or hiss. She loves people, often rubbing against them or climbing into our laps. She is truly one of the sweetest cats I've ever met, and deserves the best home!

Mirabel's adoption fee is $80 - she is spayed, vaccinated for feline distemper and rabies, dewormed and FIV/FeLV negative.

Mirabel is currently at the sanctuary in Portage, WI and can be visited anytime with an appointment and approved application. If interested in adopting her, please contact us via email at latoyascatlegacy@gmail.com or fill out our online application.
