Mira's Story
Hi, I'm Mera!

I was rescued from a high kill shelter in a very sickly condition. I was loaded with worms, unable to see and very under weight. Unfortunately I am blind from receiving to much Ivermectin/Selamectin. I carry the siamese gene that makes me sensative to these medication. Selamectin (Revolution) can cause blindness if given in excess, especially to siamese cat. I have been in the rescue for a few months now. I have regained my healthy and blossomed into a gorgeous siamese with Seal Point coloration. I would do best as a single cat or maybe with just one other cat. I will do wonderful in a smaller environment once I learn where my litter box is and my surroundings. Being blind makes me hyper anxious when other cats are around. Since I can't see them coming at me, I feel bombarded by the unknown. I love to get pets and I follow my foster's footsteps around the house. I also love to play with my toys that my foster has attached bells to.

If you are interested in meeting Mera please fill out the blank adoption form at http://alicatrescue.com/cat/adopt-me/

Mera is spayed, microchipped with a lifetime chip account, up-to-date on her vaccinations, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, has received our worming protocol and regular flea meds.

Mira's adoption donation is $130.00 which helps to pay it forward so that the next street kitty can be saved. There is an additional $15 Rabies tag cost for all PBC Residents.

Ali Cat Rescue, Inc. is a not-for-profit, all volunteer rescue. It is foster based out of individual homes and had not physical adoption building. All donations go directly towards taking care of the cats and kittens.

www.alicatrescue.org
