Minnie's Story
Why hello there, my name is Minnie!

I’m a petite, quiet, young spayed female. A little girl found me in Yakima and wanted to keep me, but sadly her dad said they weren’t allowed to have cats where they lived, so I’m currently being fostered.

I’m not picky but I love canned cat food when I get it, being petted and talked to, and socializing with humans and other cats. I have a super cool cat hammock that I sleep on and observe those around me, but I’m pretty mellow and quiet but ultimately I just want to be in my forever home where I can love and be loved.

I’d love to meet and see if we could be a good fit. What do ya say?

Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.

If you’re interested in meeting Minnie, please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or, email uccr.yakima@gmail.com or visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application”,
