Minnie's Story

This lil golden eyed gray baby will steal your heart the moment your eyes meet hers. Minnie was not much bigger than a mouse (hence the name) when she was found, but her meow was MIGHTY and grabbed the attention of a nearby Good Samaritan. Ever since then it’s been all upside for Miss Minnie. She absolutely loves condo life. She plays and purrs and cuddles and watches tv and loves other cats. Her favorite toy: the necklace around your neck. Typical girl. Loves shiny things. Minnie’s other fascination: tube treats. Her resolution for 2026 is to EAT MORE CHURU TREATS!! As soon as she hears the crinkle of the top being ripped open… she zooms right to your hand. Don’t worry though. Her manners are impeccable and she’s a dainty eater! Minnie was born September, 2025.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Minnie, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you!
