Minnie is a sassy little lady who knows exactly what she wants and, more importantly, when she wants it. She is affectionate on her own time and can be a wonderful companion when she’s in the mood for love, but she can also become overstimulated very easily. Minnie is looking for an adopter who will appreciate her independent personality, pay attention to her signals, and give her the space she needs when she asks for it. After spending time at the shelter since June, this pretty girl is more than ready to find a home of her own.<br/><br/>Minnie’s ideal home will be one where her boundaries are understood and respected. She is not a fan of small children, but she may do well with older children who can learn to read her body language and understand when she needs some space. Minnie does not necessarily enjoy the company of other cats, so she may prefer to be the queen of her own castle. While Minnie has not lived with dogs, she has done well during introductions with them at the shelter, so a canine companion may be possible with slow, proper introductions. Most of all, Minnie needs someone who will let her relationship with them develop at her own pace and appreciate all the sass, personality, and affection she has to offer.<br/><br/>Minnie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped, so she is ready to leave shelter life behind and start her next chapter!
