Mindy's Story

Mindy was brought to the shelter when she was about 3 months old. She is now about 7 months old and still searching for a home! Mindy is FeLV+ which is a virus that severely suppresses the immune system. Cats with FeLV can still live normal lives, but is does shorten their life span and is transmissible to other cats. Mindy also hates other cats with a passion, so she will have to be the only cat in her home. She might do okay in a home with dogs, but she will definitely need some time to get used to them. Mindy is a funny girl. She is so outgoing and playful, but she is also a little shy at first and can be a little sensitive to change. She will probably need some time to settle into her new home, but once she is comfortable, she will make a great companion to her new home!
