I know Valentine’s Day is coming up, and I was wondering if you would be my someone special. For a long time, the streets were my whole world. I only knew of the cold snowy pavement, loud cars, and days where every step mattered. I survived, however got injured with a permanent limp. But, don’t worry! That doesn’t stop me from enjoying life at all. Despite my disability, I have a great personality: affectionate, sweet, and incredibly food motivated. Food is my love language. I’m currently in a foster home learning how wonderful it feels to be safe, warm, and most importantly, loved. Unfortunately my foster is moving across the country next wee and I have no place to go 😭 My limp is just a tiny of my story…not my whole story. I’m ready for a furever home with someone who sees me for who I am: a resilient cat with so much to give. I am uncomfortable around a group of other kitties but if you have one or two calm kitties i am sure i can learn to be friends with them ❤️🙏 Can I be your furever Valentine? The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
