Hello! I am Mimi. I was surrendered to the shelter after a major change in my owners housing situation. My owner said that I can be very sweet but also spicy at first, so I'll need time to warm up and be comfortable. Once comfortable, I am very affectionate lady that will seek out attention. I love wet food and churu treats! I will need a kind person that can give me lots of time and space to adjust to a new home. INSIGHTS FROM MY FOSTER: Mimi is a sweet and confident lady who made herself right at home upon arrival. She likes to be close and will often sit in or under a chair in whatever room you are in during the day. In the evening, she likes to curl up on someone's lap and spends the night at the foot of the bed. That being said, she doesn't always like to be petted and prefers to be touched only on her own terms. She always gives a warning chirp when she's had enough, which we appreciate. She loves Churu, catnip, playing with string, and birdwatching. We think Mimi would do best in a quieter home without small children where she is the solo cat, preferably with people who are home during the day. She is a great work-from-home buddy!. She is easy-going and independent.
