Milo's Story

Buckwheat was brought to the shelter by our Humane Agents after he showed up as a stray on someone's porch and was pulling out all his fur. At the time, this poor guy was infested with fleas and his skin was so irritated from them that he was overgrooming to the point of making his skin raw. We were able to get him treated for the fleas and now his skin has been healing up nicely. All that is left is too find him a home! Buckwheat is about 7 years old. He is very sweet and affectionate toward people and seems to be a pretty laid back guy. Buckwheat would likely do well in a home with other animals and children, but we always recommend slow introductions. Buckwheat is now in need of a loving family and home!
