Milo's Story
Meet Milo — the gentle, resilient senior sweetheart who rescued himself and is ready to spend his golden years wrapped in love.

Milo's story is one of strength, sweetness, and second chances. He came into our care in very rough condition, but even then, his affectionate nature shone through. With medical care, patience, and a whole lot of love, Milo, a 14 year old, has blossomed into one of the most tender, peopleoriented cats you'll ever meet.

This handsome boy has had several bad teeth removed and now has just one tooth remaining, so he'll need to stay on a wetfoodonly diet. He doesn't mind one bit — mealtime is one of his favorite parts of the day, especially when licky treats are involved. He absolutely basks in attention at adoption events, happily cuddling with anyone who wants to hold him — including kids. Milo is a true lap cat who melts into your arms and soaks up every bit of affection offered.

Milo is FIV+, but this currently has no impact on his daytoday life. He's a happy, content senior boy who enjoys brushing sessions, cozy naps, and gentle playtime with his toys. He would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as he loves companionship and settles beautifully beside his person.

Milo has also had one eye removed due to glaucoma and detached ligaments. He receives drops in his remaining eye — and in the near future, he'll be undergoing surgery in hopes of preserving that eye longterm. He handles his care like a champ and continues to greet each day with sweetness and trust.

Because FIV can be transmitted through deep bite wounds, Milo would do best as an only cat or in a home with other FIV+ cats. He's wonderful with children and would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a calm, loving, deeply affectionate friend.

Milo is also eligible for our Seniors for Seniors program, meaning his adoption fee is waived for adopters over 65.

This boy has been through so much, yet he remains gentle, grateful, and full of love. After 2 years with our rescue, he's ready for a soft place to land — a home where he can nap on warm laps, enjoy his wet food feasts, and spend his days surrounded by kindness.

If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who will adore you with his whole heart, Milo may be the perfect match.

Check out our Facebook page to see more pictures and videos of our lovebug Milo!

Please apply to adopt at www.TTRRescue.com or email TTRRescue@gmail.com with any questions.

NYS dept of agriculture license # 534

Adoption Process
Our adoption process helps match pets with their families. After submitting your cat or dog application, we contact references, and schedule a virtual or in-person home visit. We encourage virtual or in-person meet and greets with your potential new companion.
Once everything is approved, we celebrate as your new furry friend officially becomes part of your family!

Adoption Policies
Out of State adoptions are possible for the right match but dependent on transport capabilities.
At this time our adoptions are limited to applicants who are 18 or older.
Virtual meet & greets are available for applicants without an application*
In-person meet & greets are available for applicants with an application*
We require adopters' pets to be up to date on their rabies vaccine as per NYS law and highly encourage additional vaccinations.
*Depending on foster availability and comfort level.

Adoption Fees
By adopting, you're not just gaining a loving companion—your adoption donation helps us continue our mission to save more pets in need. Nearly 90% of our budget goes to cover vet fees for our foster pets.
Dogs
Puppies (up to 1 year): $300
Adult Dogs (over 1 year) 25 pounds : $150-170
Adult Dogs (over 1 year) 25 pounds : $175-200
Cats
Kittens: $100-120
Double Kittens: $175-200
Adult Cats (over 1 year): $80-100
Double Adult Cats: $120-180

For more information please Contact Us
