Milo's Story
Neuter
age: 10 years
Weight: 11LBS
Fee: $0

Milo is an 11-pound neutered male Domestic Longhair with a handsome brown-and-white tabby coat and the fluff to match. Don’t let his adorably “grumpy” resting face fool you—this boy is as sweet as they come!

Milo previously lived in a nursing home with his elderly owner, where he was surrounded by activity and regularly saw other residents’ pets. He’s very accustomed to being around other animals, but he’s more of a quiet observer than the life of the party. His favorite place? Sitting in a perfect little loaf right beside his person, simply enjoying their company.

Milo is a gentle, devoted companion who thrives on calm closeness. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention—he just wants to be near you. If you’re looking for a soft, steady presence to keep you company (with a permanently serious expression that hides a heart of gold), Milo might be your perfect match.

Come meet this sweet, fluffy gentleman and see past that grumpy face—you’ll quickly discover what a truly nice boy he is.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost.

No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org.

Open Adoption Hours:

Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm

Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm

Saturday: Noon – 4 pm

I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.

We can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new best friend!
