Milo's Story

Gender: Male
Colour: Black
Date of Birth: May 22, 2017

Milo came to AAR with his brother Pumpkin when their owner passed away.

He is an easy going guy who likes to spend time with his humans but doesn't demand much from you. He is a little older so he enjoys short play sessions and long naps, and he just likes to hang out near you.

He does get overstimulated easily and will sometimes bite if you aren't watching his body language, so he will need a cat savvy human who understands feline behavioural cues, and probably wouldn't enjoy living with children.

One other thing you should know - Milo has diabetes, so he will require a family who will work with their veterinarian to keep him healthy and happy. Currently, this is well managed with a once-daily medication that he gobbles up on a little bit of wet food.

He may need a little extra care, but he is a sweet guy and is worth it. He has lived with another cat his whole life and does well with the resident cats in his foster home, so he could do well with another kitty friend with proper introductions (if you are looking for a pair, consider his brother, Pumpkin! Though this isn't mandatory).

Location: Fergus, ON.
Adoption fee: $275
To meet and adopt this cat, apply at the link below:
https://tinyurl.com/AARApplyNow

Arthur Animal Rescue Co-operative's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting through Arthur Animal Rescue! We are a small rescue comprised of caring foster homes throughout Center and North Wellington (Arthur, Mount Forest, Fergus, Elora and surrounding areas). If you see a cat or kitten on our site and would like to learn more about any of them please feel free to send us a message. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable pets in person, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a time for you to meet which is convenient to you and the foster home. In the event that multiple applications are received for a cat or kitten in our rescue, we will review each one and make the best decision based on fit for both the cat or kitten, and their forever family. The adoption fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery as well as first vaccinations. The cats and kittens are also dewormed and receive revolution treatment whenever necessary. We also provide info on preparing for a new feline family member to help with the transition to their new homes. And offer ongoing support or advice after the adoption has taken place! If you have questions at all please feel free to contact us!
